Certified Stories: The Range Café!

Wednesday, February 25, 2015

The Range Café debuted in 1992 in the historic town of Bernalillo, New Mexico. From the beginning, The Range was wildly popular, even running out of food on its first day of business. Soon, word had spread across northern New Mexico about this great little place that “serves ordinary food done extraordinarily well.” To this day, the Range Café lives by those five words. We take traditional comfort and New Mexican classics and make them our own. With a mix of traditional and new ingredients, we create a menu that not only feels like home, but is also adventurous.

Traditional ingredients are the foundation of what makes New Mexican cuisine famous. Our award winning huevos rancheros start with blue corn tortillas, an ingredient with deep roots in New Mexican history. We top them with two eggs your way, smother them in New Mexico certified red or green chile and finish them off with white cheddar cheese. Chile rellenos are a New Mexico standby. Our unique twist involves encrusting the chile in blue corn and stuffing them with white cheddar. This combination makes them crispy, creamy and addicting!

The Range Café is open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert with three locations in the Albuquerque & Bernalillo area. Our Bernalillo location features a full bar and live music on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights in the Lizard Rodeo Lounge.

Hope to see you soon!
